Positive Minds - Online

Positive Minds is a mental health support group developed for people of colour living in Leeds to improve access to mental health services for this demographic. The project considers all aspects of the group members' needs including their spirituality, mental health, culture, interpersonal relationships and physical health. It empowers group members to understand their unique and shared needs and create goals for improving their wellbeing. Positive Minds allows for group members to engage in conversations around race, culture and identity within a safe space with facilitators with shared lived experience. Positive Minds will be launching in Autumn 2021, online and face-to-face dependent on government guidelines.
