COVID-19 Closure

Woodhouse Community Centre will be closed to the public from Thursday 26th March to protect public health.

You may wish to join our mailing list to be kept up to date with our response to this unprecendented situation.

 

Some of our tenants are staying in place, but the IT suite and public facilities will not be available.

Pass it On

Are you aged 50 or over?
Do you have a skill or knowledge you’re willing to teach others?

 

It could be something like:
Baking a cake, or
Putting up a shelf, or
Story telling, or
Shopping on a budget , or

 

Anything you think other people would benefit from learning !!

Oblong’s Pass it On group is open to everyone aged 50 or over , whether you have a skill to share or just want to come and learn.

We are looking for local people in the Woodhouse/Hyde Park/Little London area who love to cook, and who are interested in working together for a year long 'World Cafe Community Cooks Project.

 

 

We can offer:
Regular group training activities on setting up and running a
business
Food hygiene certificates
One on one supervision
Kitchen space
Money for ingredients
Chance to showcase your food at 10 cafes
We want:
Committed, talented individuals who love to
cook and want to learn more
