Role Title: Reception and Administration Volunteer

 

Role Description: You will be responsible for giving visitors information about the services and activities in our community centre,taking room bookings and looking after our reception area, sometimes without the presence of any paid staff.  It's a good role if you want to improve your administration skills whilst meeting a wide range of people and learning a lot about the local community.

 

Main tasks: You will be responsible for giving visitors information about the services and activities in our community centre, taking room bookings and looking after our reception area, sometimes without the presence of any paid staff.

 

Skills description: No previous experience needed. Basic IT skills, confident in answering the phone, intermediate level english, confident in dealing with face to face enquires.

 

Benefits from this role/Support given: Gain confidence experience and knowledge in a reception role. Volunteer induction provided. Training in the skills needed and systems used for the role. Volunteers receive regular support and supervision.
