Marketing Action Group Volunteer or Coordinator
Role Title: Marketing Action Group Volunteer or Coordinator
The Marketing Action Group create materials to promote Oblong. This could be social media posts for facebook/twitter/instagram/youtube, GIFs, video’s, posters, displays, flyers or website content. We advertise ‘What’s On’ at Woodhouse Community Centre, our LED volunteer scheme, Oblongs Mental Health courses and more. We work collectively, sharing ideas and skills. The group currently meets 1-4 every Tuesday but this is flexible with group members.
There are 2 roles available, group coordinator and marketing and media volunteer. The Marketing Action Group Coordinator will take a lead on this group whereas other volunteers can come and get creative once a week with the support or guidance of others. This group is for everyone with any level of experience and skills in marketing and media. Coordinator and volunteers will have a good eye for design and enjoy creating content. Knowledge of indesign, paint.net or similar, and the ability to help others use these tools would be great but not necessary. Ability to facilitate and make sure everyone has a say is essential for the coordinator.
