ESOL Classroom Assistant and Teacher

This volunteer-led project provides 2 FREE weekly classes, Wednesdays 6pm-8pm and Fridays 1:30-3pm

We currently need volunteers for Wednesday evenings or anyone able to start a morning class during the week!!

Informal English conversation classes aimed at anyone including asylum seekers and refugees.

We currently are looking for more teachers and classroom assistants - get in touch if you are interested and could volunteer for a couple of hours weekly. 

Teacher - This is a great opportunity to:

• Practice or develop classroom and teaching skills in a friendly, relaxed environment
• Meet new people

Classroom Assistant - This is a great opportunity to:

• Meet new people
• Help out in the classroom
• Learn some classroom and teaching skills and run some short sessions with others

Student - This is a great opportunity to:

• Meet other people.
• Practice English in a supportive environment.
• Develop English skills for work, and other practical day-to-day activities
